I wasn't able to push through with the idea (of making these of Christmas gifts) as I was pretty wiped-out already from the move. But I guess I could re-visit the recipe from time to time in case we'll have some cravings for sweets.
This is already a late entry since I made the batches of the Chocolate Rum Balls last December 27. I was still in search for Christmas give aways and I thought of something edible. Again, the recipe is pretty easy to follow. I was able to make 24 chocolate balls and the container I've bought fits exactly 12 pieces. I'm not really a choco-holic but I did taste one. It's really good - you'll first taste the chocolate and nuts but after that, you'll feel the heat of the rum on your throat :D Myke's cousin, J liked it so much that she ate too much resulting in toothache. LOL! Hubby says it's good but he isn't a fan of food that has liquor :P I wasn't able to push through with the idea (of making these of Christmas gifts) as I was pretty wiped-out already from the move. But I guess I could re-visit the recipe from time to time in case we'll have some cravings for sweets.
