These are not freckles. If they are, then I think I can't do a "mestiza" look. :P
I got these when one evening last week, I felt nauseous and just had to throw up. After which, hubby had commented that my face had gotten all red. I though it was kinda like a red as in flushed but no, I had gotten these red spots all over my face. :(
I was scared that it might be an allergic reaction so I immediately visited our company clinic the very next day.
When I went back, the derma immediately opined that it was due to my vomiting. Apparently, severe vomiting can put too much pressure on the capillaries by overflowing them with blood. So the red spots were actually bursted capillaries and are typically harmless. No need to apply anything, just wait for them to disappear in a few days. Well, not unless I had another major throwing up episode which I do not even want to think about. My face would probably be all red by then. NOT a pretty sight.
So after 3 days, my face is clear and back to its normal condition. Yey! Although there are times that I want to hurl out what I've eaten, I keep myself in check and psychologically convince myself that I am not feeling nauseous and do not need to throw up. I can't say it has worked since these past couple of days, my dinner went down the sink. Basta after dinner before going to bed, my tummy felt queasy and I wasn't able to sleep until I "emptied" my stomach. So now, I limit my dinner intake which isn't that hard to do cos my appetite has waned. Sights and smells of some food makes me feel icky.
I'm slowly being convinced that I may be afflicted with evening sickness instead of in the morning... *sigh*
