We ordered their Crispy Dinuguan, Crispy Pork Binagoongan, and Seafood Kare-kare. Yep, our lunch fare is not what you'd advise for someone who has high blood pressure. He he he.
Well for the crispy dinuguan, the contrast of pork's crispiness against the sauce was a discovery but personally, I want to be able to bite into the meat. I think some of the pork is too hard to bite (probably it lost its crispiness when the dish's temperature went down).
The pork binagoongan is good, it isn't salty as I first thought it'd be. The seafood kare-kare is also good though I found the amount of oil on the sauce too much. You'd know that you need to go on a cleansing diet if you dare to pour the sauce over your rice. He he he. But hey, most of what we ordered were oily so maybe our choice of dishes should have been re-considered.
We tasted their Maruya topped with Ice Cream for dessert but we left most of the maruya on the plate. It was more of flour (maruya breading) than bananas.
Still, we all came out full and managed to score the snapshot below as we went back to the office. Judging from our smiles, do you think we were satisifed with our lunch?
