You probably might be ready to puke already with the wedding related pictures and stories I've been posting lately so I thought to share something fun. But... still wedding related. Ha ha ha! Gotcha!  Thing is the only whites you'd see here is not of my gown but of white clouds and sand. Yep, it's our honeymoon in Boracay! :D

But before I go on, don't think that I'd be posting some 'naughty' stories here. This is all about the fun in the sands and water.

After our wedding, we flew off to Aklan to spend 5 blissful (and stress-free) days at Bora. It's our first visit here for both Myke and I so we were pretty excited.

So after the ceremony at the Manila Cathedral, it was time to let loose and celebrate!  Here's the other half of our wedding journal. Enjoy! ♥

You've seen some of the details. So now, I'll share some more wedding photos and some anecdotes on what had transpired last October 23, 2010 :)

I got a parcel this afternoon...

It's a copy of the W@W 2010 Primer. I was given a copy for my contribution - which was a quote under "Nicest thing done to you.."

Note from the author: I'm happy to inform you though that my MOH (Maid of Honor) was indeed present on my wedding day.. sans jet lag  =)

I don't know about you but there's something about lace that evokes romance and grace for me. While I was searching for inspiration ideas for my wedding gown, I was so torn between going all out - ruffles, beading, laces and sticking to clean simple lines. But I was sure of one thing: no ball gown for me. No siree!

Well, after showing you some of our wedding portraits, you know which one I chose *wink*

My wedding dress was a simple gown with soft lines and detailed beadings on the straps and bodice. I stuck with this design because it is contemporary and yet elegant. But.. there wasn't a shred of lace on my dress and I was itching to have something in lace on my ensemble.  I have also wanted to wear gloves for the wedding but I tried to veer away from the opera type gloves that one would usually see on brides. Again, I wanted a contemporary touch so I decided to choose between fingerless and fingertip gloves.

I hate to admit it but I am addicted to watching our SDE (same day edit) video over and over.... and over again.  Once Guj uploaded our video, I downloaded it on my laptop and had converted another so I could save and play it on my phone. Talk about being an adik! :P

Myke had been rolling his eyes at me (over and over again) whenever he catches me watching the clip on my phone. But I. don't. care. *stick out tongue*
The song used was actually Myke's pick. It is entitled "Closer" by Travis.

I just got the CDs of our raw photos and videos from Team Redsheep. I ♥ our P/V (photo/video) team!

Myke and I still had to sort out the pictures and choose only a handful (gulp!) that will be included in our album. For now, I'd like to share some pictures of wedding details. I've removed the Details page here in my blogsite and made them into a slideshow. Some pictures feature my DIYs.
Highlights from the wedding to be posted soon. Promise! :)

I'm still hung over from our vacay / honeymoon in Boracay so even if it's back to work for us, I'm reminiscing about our wedding and the hard work we've put out to make it a reality.  Part of that journey is getting hooked on W @W digests and being addicted to details that one could DIY (do-it-yourself).

I couldn't say that I'm good at crafts. Heck, I need to have specific directions and the outlines clearly marked out before I dare grab the scissors and do anything 'crafty'. But I did make some of our wedding paraphernalias on the fly. Our house was a witness of the failed attempts I had. So anyway, here's sharing some of the DIY items one could do to make something more special. There's nothing like a labor of love, ika nga :)  Here's the first of (probably) several entries.

To add a look of cohesiveness for our male entourage, we decided to give them neckties. Now when you buy these off the rack at SM, they aren't enclosed on a gift box or anything resembling a neat packaging. The ties are just in their mini-hangers. Since they are also gifts for our male ento, I searched the net for tie boxes and had luckily stumbled upon this site.

When I saw the cute boxes, I decided to make several of these to box in our neckties.

After getting back from our honeymoon, it's back to reality. I promised to post some wedding kwentos but as we're in the process of coming up with our 'love nest', it might be a while.

Our honeymoon was really exciting. Cos it the first time for us to visit this local paradise, Myke and I were determined to making the most out of it. Our itinerary was full and we've done some pretty cool and fun stuff - jetskiing, parasailing, riding an ATV... whew!

I'd be posting the pictures soon.

It's a sunny Sunday and as I'm looking at the ring on my hand, I still can't believe that I am now a married woman. The ceremony and festivities seemed to have whizzed by but I could still vividly recall beautiful details.. moments I would cherish forever.

I'm kinda still in a daze to jot down all of the stories that I wanted to share with you, my friends. But when everything is settled, I'd post whatever I could. For now, this is the AVP presentation I made with our prenup pictures. I hope you'll enjoy this :)
