Today had been a long day.

Our team had been tasked to do an AVP for the company's Customer Care division. And today, we had been to 3 locations for the video shoot. Though it was supposed to be two of my teammates' project, J and I helped out since there were several frames to be covered for the different sites.

Though we act mainly as coordinators for the media/ad group and our company, it was still tiring to watch over the shoot, be runners if there are things to be coordinated and of course, bantering with our officemates who are part of the talent pool. Nope, di po ako kasama sa mga models. He he he. But I was part of the "extras" there. If I'm lucky and the clip made it to the final product, you might see me back (yes, my BACK) on the scene where I posed as client in the coffee shop. Hi hi hi!

Anyway, here are some behind-the-scenes shots of some of my friends who made their acting debut. Ha ha! :P

Yep. That's me in one of my most unflattering pictures. The ice pack is for nursing the concussion I have on the right side of my head. I think me and the ice bag would be buddies for the next few days. Here's the story..

Remininiscent of what happened a few months back, I had a tumble again in our office stairs. Except this time, I had to be rushed to the ER due to the concussion. I couldn't recall exactly how I ended up in the heap at the bottom of the stairs. I was sure though that my foot hadn't caught on something nor did I trip. Probably slipped or lost my footing. Anyway, I desperately tried to hold on to something but I still managed to fall head first. When I fell, I just couldn't move. I was so dizzy. I kept my eyes closed and just let the guards and other people help me up. I had a concussion the size of  a golf ball so the company doctor had me rushed to Makati Medical Center.

Nowadays, a lot of people have become figure-conscious. I and a few of my colleagues are no exception. With the gastronomic feast we've had over the past Holidays, it's no wonder that our bodies might be showing bulges that are better off to be on some livestock or somebody else who is "pilit na nagpapataba pero walang effect". Hmp! <-- Bitter? :P

Rather than complain, my colleagues had the idea of holding their own "The Biggest Loser" edition to finally work on the unwanted fats. To sweeten the (or)deal, participants decided to chip in a certain amount of money and the accumulated cash will be the prize for the winner.  The challenge? Be the one who will lose weight the most in a span of 5 months.

Now to make sure no one slacks around, the loser (the one who had the least weight lost) will take the 2nd and 3rd placers on a treat. Sana lang e wag pakainin sa Eat-All-You-Can resto. Sayang lang ang trinabaho ng limang buwan. Hi hi hi!

Official weigh in was last January 12. The four 'contenders' had agreed to have their "Before" pictures taken so we could see their progress(?). For kahihiyaan reasons, I have purposely hidden their faces (ha ha ha! Peace, guys!).

So who will be the winner? We'll find out and I'm gonna post updates on this, you betcha ;-)

P.S. Anyone who wanna place bets with me, you may send me a private message. Ha ha ha!
*Note: Author with consent from the four participants to post their mug shots.. err.. photos.

Renovations had been halted because the carpenters haven't reported for duty. But since I've been mentioning our room in my last few posts, I figured I could share you a sneak peak :P

I first joined our company's annual "Lakaran" last year.  Myke and I had so much fun that I was determined to participate again. After all, what's walking a few kilometers when you are able help out other people? :)

Our company's walk-for-a-cause this year was entitled "Walk for A Smile". PLDT has tied up with Operation Smile to come up with donations for the operation of 82 kids with cleft lip and palate. 82 kids in significance of the 82nd year aniversary of PLDT.
