The venue is located inside Harrizon Plaza. It's a game station (ano nga ba ang tawag sa mga lugar na tulad ng Timezone?) called Funhouse that has a room that you could rent out for your kid's birthday party.
Pros: Packages are a bit budget-friendly. As with other packaged party deals, it will be less of a hassle when you hold your party there. You only get to deal with one group/ person to book your suppliers. I know it is quite challenging to look for and contact suppliers one by one. This is kinda like a one-stop shop na so once you've booked, chosen your packages and suppliers then you just have to wait till the date of your party to enjoy the fruits of your.. uhm.. labor. :)
Cons: Since you are tied-in with their in-house suppliers, there might be some limitations on the options that you have. Plus, they might be as flexible when you want to have additional setup/decor, carts and what-nots brought in. Unless you want to shell out some additional moolah. Hehehe.
The area (Harrizon Plaza) is also not appealing. My hubby personally turned down this venue flat because of the "profile" (if you may call it that) of the crowd that's going in and out of the area. Not to be snob (after all di kami mga milyonaryo ha!), but one might have to be wary when you go in there. Again, this last observation is based on personal preference.

Pros: You can bring in your own decorator. Price is ok. The staff is accommodating.
Cons: They have accredited caterers - TGIF and Verleo. Not sure if they have corkage if you'll bring in your own caterer.
The setup of the 3 areas (pavilion, garden and function room) is kinda awkward. The pavillion and the function rooms are both enclosed. The placement of the outdoor garden is in between the pavillion and the function room. So if you rent the whole penthouse and had tables set out in the garden, you might have trouble moving in the tables inside. Maghihiwa-hiwalay ang mga guests mo, merong nasa pavillion at merong nasa function room.
Limited parking space. Although their admin staff was willing to make arrangements to save some parking slots, it will be limited pa rin. The most he could arrange was 10 slots max. Others who would be bringing cars will have to park on the street.
Consider also the traffic and navigation in the area. After all, it is Binondo so expect heavy traffic on some streets.
WORLD TRADE EXCHANGE (BINONDO)
Capacity: 120 pax (for Rizal hall)
Rate: P16,000 (Rizal hall), P18,000 (Rizal hall + 1/2 of the Juan Luna hall) for 4 hours + P2,000 (Sound system and projector) + P5,000 refundable security deposit; P2,000/hour in excess

I already looked this up in the Net but seeing that the venue rental is a bit steep. I didn't consider it already. However, I saw their building after making the ocular visit at Sky One so hubby and I decided to check the place out.
Pros: You can bring in your own decorator and caterer (no corkage fee).
The venue is semi circular in shape and the columns that you see in their website are fewer and made circular na lang. So it is less crowded.
The view is pretty cool - overlooking Manila Bay.
Spacious and clean restrooms.
Their contact person, Donna is also very accommodating. She was really helpful and eager to show us the venue. And she even showed us samples and photos of events held at WTE.
Parking won't be a problem. They will be providing parking tickets so you could use the parking inside the building.
Cons: Usual Binondo traffic. In our case, the fee over our alloted budget for the venue.

Notes: Stumbled upon this on the Smart Parenting forum. A mom mentioned that she recently held her kid's party there. Based on their website, the venue rental is pretty cheap (IF their website info is updated). But I can't seem to find the person in charge on renting the function hall. When I called up their landline, a staff told me that "iba na ang nag-hahandle ng rental" but can't provide me with any info as to who is handling the rental and their contact number. He asked for my contact number and promised that he will advise me once he get the info but I waited for nothing. A few days passed and I tried to call them again, the person I spoke with (may be the same guy I encountered first time around) gave me a number (the one I indicated above) and the contact person to call. Hay naku! Wala namang sumasagot kahit na tawagan mo pa! I also asked my decorator if she has worked on the place na, told na that the venue is super rectangular and no provisions for swags and ceiling balloons. So I scratched this off my list na kasi kahit na super mura, ang hirap naman kontakin and baka sayang lang ang bayad ko for decor.

Notes: They were offering me package that already included the venue, food and setup/decor that is good for 100 pax (70 adults, 30 kids). Cost is P78,000. You may want to ask them more about this if you want less suppliers to transact with.
