You probably might be ready to puke already with the wedding related pictures and stories I've been posting lately so I thought to share something fun. But... still wedding related. Ha ha ha! Gotcha!  Thing is the only whites you'd see here is not of my gown but of white clouds and sand. Yep, it's our honeymoon in Boracay! :D

But before I go on, don't think that I'd be posting some 'naughty' stories here. This is all about the fun in the sands and water.

After our wedding, we flew off to Aklan to spend 5 blissful (and stress-free) days at Bora. It's our first visit here for both Myke and I so we were pretty excited.

First day: Station hopping and dinner at Ole :)
We arrived at Bora at around 8am and the hotel can't check us in yet. So we left our luggages and checked out the scene. We walked to and from Stations 1, 2 and 3.  It was a warm day so we had to have some pampalamig.

For dinner, we decided to check out the Spanish restaurant Ole at D*Mall. We ordered their cold tapa sampler for appetizer. Steak fajitas and seafood paella were next. We loved their fajitas and the paella was really good :)

Menu card. We didn't get to take pics of the food cos my phone was throwing a fit

The finger.. with the wedding ring on it :P
After we were stuffed, we had to stay a while at the resto cos it was raining. So I had some Long Island iced tea muna. Again for the record, I did not get drunk despite what Myke says =P

Enjoying my 'iced tea'. Methinks the one who took the pic was the drunk. Heehee.

Second day: Island Hopping, Helmet Diving and Parasailing
Picture
The boatman took us around the islands. We went to Poka Beach where we stuffed ourselves (again). This time with fresh seafood :) We also bought some nice shell anklets and pearl rosary for pasalubongs. A quick dip in the water then we're off to our next activity.

Helmet Diving. The dive was nothing spectacular. The metal helmet was heavy, it was biting into my shoulders (it got a little lighter though once we were underwater). There weren't much to see underwater too. You get to feed the fishes though, that's why they were flocking at us.

Ugh. Flab alert!
After the dive, we tried parasailing which was really, really fun :)
Picture
We wanted to go higher but they told us that we were had reached the maximum altitude allowed. Hmpf. Spoilsport!

I thought that it would be shaky up in the air (like turbulence in an airplane) but we were just sitting steady. The view was amazing. It reminded me of the cable car in Ngong Ping (HK).

The fifteen minutes seemed to have passed by quickly. And we were a bit bitin :P

Next time, baby. Next time. Ha ha!

Third day: Henna Tattoos, ATV ride and Jetskiing
I never had a tattoo, temporary or otherwise. While I was little, the nearest I got to having a tattoo were those transfer stickers - the kind that you lay flat against your skin and wet with water to leave the imprint on your skin. So while at Bora, we tried some henna tattoos.

I asked the artist to draw me star shower tattoos on my neck, going to my shoulder blades similar to what Rihanna has. While Myke chose a tribal design for this arm.

ATV Ride. Wala lang. Gusto namin i-try ni Myke kasi parang ang astig e. He he! Ok naman siya. It was raining during the ride but Myke and I ditched the raincoats. Buti na lang di kami nagkasakit.  Mga pasaway :P

You get to drive an ATV (or a buggy if you want to be together) papunta dun sa parang highest peak nila and you get to see the whole Boracay. May quick stop lang sa isang aviary farm where I got to hold a bat! I was scared sh*tless when I got in the cage cos they were just there hanging upside down. I was thinking that anytime one of them would bit me and suck me dry. He he he.

I also thought that cos its an all terrain vehicle, we'd be driving through some rough roads pero wala naman. Panay cemented roads but there are lanes na may ditch sa isang side so dapat medyo careful rin when driving. Saka may speed limit lang ang pag-drive. Bummer :P

Jetski. Another first for us. I was a bit hesitant to drive one myself so I let Myke drive us na lang. It was fun, fun, fun! Kinda exhilirating when you get tossed around and had to hold on to your partner to avoid falling off. Ha ha! That's sick but fun pa rin naman.

Fourth day:  Tanning and Jetskiing
Since it has been raining during the afternoons, I wasn't getting tan despite being exposed to the sun on some of our activities. So, I decided to bask in the sun before we leave Bora. Myke then had his tattoo retouched despite being warned that it might trigger a skin reaction.

That afternoon, we set out to sea again for our second round of jetskiing. This time, Myke let me drive. Apparently, Myke thought I would be easy on the gas clutch. Sorry baby, I'm no chicken =P
Picture
Myke was more nervous while I was driving because he thought he might fall off the jetski while I kept veering towards the big waves. So he was shouting "'Bi!" while I was "Wee!". Ha ha ha ha!

Fifth day: Chillax
The last day of any vacation is usually alloted to re-packing and making sure nothing important gets left behind. So we just hanged out at the hotel and relaxed a bit.

Surely, hubby and I  had enjoyed every bit of our honeymoon together. It felt like nothing else mattered - we simply appreciated each other's company. It truly was a fun-filled honeymoon and the beauty of the place is just wonderful. Next time we go back, we'll definitely try some new activity and discover other wonderful things together.

Bi, di natin natuloy ang pag-ha-happy hour natin ha. Next time. Ha ha ha!
