It was only last year that I've heard of washi tapes and I had began to collect them. I didn't immediately go crazy with them as I was still for projects that I really liked, with the end product being something that I will use. So I'll just share a couple of small projects that I did with washi and decorative tapes.
It was only last year that I've heard of washi tapes and I had began to collect them. I didn't immediately go crazy with them as I was still for projects that I really liked, with the end product being something that I will use. So I'll just share a couple of small projects that I did with washi and decorative tapes. First off, my first washi project was these hair clips. I had these plain black clips that I used for the project. Pretty decent for my first attempt. The challenge with this though was cutting the slits/ holes so make sure you have a sharp cutter. Next up is this small desk organizer. I bought this at Daizo for P88. I used two types of decorative tape for this. A wide (3") one with colored blocks design and a narrow (I think half an inch) one with dot design. Pretty colorful since that was I was aiming for when I was redoing my office cube (I will post another entry for this). This project if pretty easy to do since you just have to layout strips of the tape onto the organizer. Another easy project is this cork board. Just line the borders with washi tape (for this particular project, I used two designs - one for each side) and voila! Super easy no? :) I'm happy that I am able to use my tapes otherwise, M will ask me why did I buy all those tapes for? *roll eyes* I'll be looking through Pinterest for some more projects that I could do with G :)
